In 1965, while The Beatles were in Los Angeles to play The Hollywood Bowl, their manager Brian Epstein, arranged with Elvis’ manager Tom Parker, a much anticipated meeting between The King of Rock & Roll and The Fab Four: The Beatles. Long great admirers of Elvis, The Beatles agreed to meet Elvis at his Bel Air home where he lived with Priscilla. No press were allowed in, but Larry Kane, a radio reporter from Miami who toured with The Beatles in 1964-65, met with them individually the very next day, August 28, 1965, and asked each of the four about that magical night in Beatles / Elvis history. Here is Larry’s full interview with each of The Beatles that very next day.
