My favorite moment (or 21 minutes) was interview Paul McCartney backstage in Tampa FL on night two of his 2005 U.S. Tour. We talked all about his new album then, "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" and he gave me some tips on writing song lyrics that worked for him...YOU THINK? . When Paul McCartney's MTV Unplugged concert was released on CD in June of 1991, there were a few songs missing from this MOST ENJOYABLE performance, where Paul and his band kept true to the concept and REALLY unplugged. Hear four missing tracks here, which were found on Paul's "Biker Like an Icon" CD single and others.
Paul says the third album in a trilogy of classics, McCartney III has been pushed back a week to December 18th (previously December 11 2020). McCartney III will be Paul's eighteenth solo studio album, following on from 2018's Egypt Station, and has been uniquely "MADE IN ROCKDOWN". According to Paul McCartney's latest email, McCartney III is a stripped back, self-produced, solo work marking the opening of a new decade, in the tradition of Paul’s 1970 debut solo album McCartney, and 1980’s second one-Paul-band effort McCartney II.
