Ringo Starr has contracted Covid again for a second time in two weeks. Third time’s the charm for the – ALL STARR BAND TOUR – Tour Cancelled!

*****. PREVIOUS NEWS STORY BELOW ***** TOUR CANCELLED OCT 13.

The original announcement came Monday October 3rd from The Canada Life Centre — where Ringo and his band were scheduled to perform, instead they released this statement: “Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band were forced to cancel their recent shows due to illness. It has been confirmed today that Ringo has Covid and the tour will be on hold while Ringo recuperates.”

But, Ringo’s show in Benaroya Hall in Seattle, WA was a hit filled All Starr Band night. Covid struck the All Starr Band earlier this year when two members, Steve Lukather and Edgar Winter contracted the dreaded Covid. The tour resumed a few weeks ago, then paused again while 82 year old Ringo recovered. This Tuesday night, Ringo closed the show with “With a Little Help from My Friends / Give Peace a Chance” to a standing ovation.

The following shows were canceled while Ringo recovered:

October 2 Prior Lake, MN – Mystic Lake Casino

October 4 Winnipeg, Manitoba – Canada Life Centre

October 5 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Sasktel Centre

October 6 Lethbridge, Alberta – Enmax Centre

October 8 Abbotsford, BC – Abbotsford Centre

October 9 Penticton, BC – South Okanagon Events Centre
