Beatle Brunch brings our members commercial free radio specials like, Steve Miller Band's 50th anniversary of his #1 hit, THE JOKER, with Steve speaking about all the songs on it and more great storytelling. He was about to record the last album on his contract. He had been touring relentlessly for years, released seven albums over the previous five years, and was pretty much worn out. He went into the studio to record what would become The Joker album, which brought him his first number-one single of the same name. To mark the 50th anniversary of this landmark album, UME/Capitol Records have released Steve Miller - J50 - the Evolution of the Joker, which contains 27 additional previously unreleased tracks to go along with the album's original nine. To celebrate the 50th anniversary, Neer Perfect Productions and UME/Capitol have provided Beatle Brunch Club members "J50 the Evolution of The Joker" an All Access one-hour national radio special featuring music from the new release as well as an interview with Steve in which he reflects upon the album's creation.
