Ronald Hawkins was a favorite of The Beatles, especially John. In 1970, John recorded this spoken tribute to Ronnie than we hear Ronnie’s “Down in The Valley” from that same year. Ronnie passed away on May 29, 2022. He was an American-Canadian rock and roll singer-songwriter whose career spanned more than half a century. His started in Arkansas where he was born and raised. He found success in Ontario, Canada, and lived there for most of his life. #RIPronnieHawkins
