More Beatle fans are discovering FabFest Charlotte! This music-centered festival is back in North Carolina Friday and Saturday July 21st and 22nd for a FAB-ulous time with John, Paul, George and Ringo in their hearts and great music in their ears. FabFest Charlotte will host two concerts at the Knight Theater in Uptown Charlotte, starring BritBeat at 8 pm Friday night.

This popular Charlotte tradition brings together fans of all ages to enjoy a uniquely wonderful evening of local and regional acts performing Beatles songs in a variety of musical genres, with audience singalongs throughout the night.

The Fab Fun continues at FabFest Daytime on Saturday, at The Parr Center , Central Piedmont Community College. Plenty of fun awaits the whole family with Beatles games and trivia, Beatles Bingo, contests, a marketplace, memorabilia, door prizes and more!

This year’s FabFest  welcomes some Beatle one-off DNA: Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band drummer Gregg Bissonette will be there for a drum clinic and interview, grab the Beatles Open-Mic on The Square, an outdoor plaza free and open to the public where you can play giant guitars and enjoy lunch from local food trucks.

FabFest organizer John Tosco said, “Previously, fans would have to travel to Chicago or New York to enjoy a Beatles festival of this magnitude. Now the Southeast has its very own weekend celebration of the fabulous music that rocked and changed the world.”

The influence of The Beatles and their music is truly international and intergenerational. FabFest is well on its way to becoming a destination event for Charlotte, where fans of all ages and cultures come together around the universal popularity of the music of The Beatles.
