One week after The Beatles made their record-breaking debut on “The Ed Sullivan Show” in New York City, the band made their second U.S. TV performance on the program on Feb 16, this time in Miami Beach at the Deauville Hotel, watched by an estimated 70 million people.
Plucky Paul was spotted recently leaving coins on the railroad tracks near his home so that trains would flatten them. He would return after the train had passed to collect the coins to use as guitar picks on stage.
