Meet John Mueller – and his Buddy Holly Tribute Show

John Mueller first appeared as Buddy Holly in the world stage premiere of Be Bop A Lula in Hollywood, CA. It was produced by Adam Ant and John Densmore of the Doors. He then won a Drama Desk Award and critical acclaim in the theatrical production of Buddy..the Buddy Holly Story at Kansas City's famed American Heartland Theatre. Today John fronts the band of "The Winter Dance Party", playing and touring the final concert and set list of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens final concert February 2, 1959. They died a few hours after this show but are forever represented by Mueller and his bands tribute. John Mueller tells his story and Buddy's on this 25 minute interview.

Joe J interviewed Pete Sept 12 2004 for his book "The Beatles the True Beginnings", here they talk about the failed decca audition.

Beatles Christmas Messages – All 7

Hear all 7 of The Beatles Christmas messages, from 1963 to 1969. The first five years the messages were straight-forward, but by 1966, the messages became more intricate, like a goon-show performance with skits and bits of songs. In 1968-69, all four Beatles recorded their own messages, and they were cut together EMI's Abbey Road Studio. Sad to learn that Gary Wright "The Dream Weaver" passed away on Monday September 4, 2023 from complications of another condition. In 2010 Beatle Brunch host Joe Johnson spoke with rock legend Gary Wright about his then new album "Connected", plus his connection to George Harrison. This interview was recorded in 2010 along with Tom Frangione of The Beatles Channel.

In 1997 she spoke at length with Joe Johnson and talked about The Beatles role in peace, recalls being the nurse for George their first weekend here when he had pneumonia.
